Your Triumph ECM comes perfectly setup for managing the fuel delivery when no changes have been made to the bike i.e. your Triumph still has all the original stock parts attached to the motor. But if you replace the stock exhaust on your Triumph or you increase the air flow to your motor with an aftermarket air filter then you should really look into buying a fuel management module that can be used to alter the mapping on the ECM so that the fuel is managed correctly. After all, if you have spent the money on improving the exhaust system or air flow you may as well get the most out of it!
